Services
Landscape Design:
By working closely with each client I am able to provide custom design plans suited to their needs, desires, and their particular style. I do not specialize in one particular style therefore, no client will have their garden design morphed into a style that displeases them. However, I do try to incorporate sustainable landscape practices whenever possible. Many of these practices are outlined in The Russian River-Friendly Landscape Practices Guide. These conceptual design plans are appropriate to send out for contractor bids or for knowledgeable homeowners to install themselves.
Color Rendering:
Color enhances a design plan by illustrating the beauty and texture of a proposed landscape. Hardscaping and plantings seem to lift off the page. This provides a better representation of what the actual design would look like. Each client will be presented a color rendered master design plan.
Plant Data Sheets:
These sheets provide a wealth of information on each proposed plant such as: botanical and common name; plant height and width; foliage and bloom color; plant care; and plant photos. These sheets are indispensable reference material for the homeowner.
Design Consultation:
For those who need landscape design ideas but do not want a full spectrum, drafted landscape plan, I offer on-site consultations. A site evaluation is conducted, various design ideas will be presented, and a plant list provided. All information will be given to you at the consultation or at the most a week later.
Plant Purchasing:
For client installed designs I will be happy to help you purchase the appropriate, good quality plants often at discounted prices.
About the Designer - Tami Soler
After living in Sonoma County for over 20 years and being exposed to the rich horticultural experiences the county provides, I was drawn to seek further education at Santa Rosa Junior College. Upon completion, I received a certificate in garden design with Autocad. I then completed the Sustainable Landscaping Certification at SSU. I hope to be a contributing influence in reviving many Sonoma County residential gardens by changing them to an environmentally friendly and sustainable garden that still exudes the owner's individual style.
